The Microsoft Launcher for Android has both a public launch and an ongoing beta – it is that latter is that today is getting a refresh with some new functions.
Version five.Four.Zero now stays for the ones enrolled inside the beta software, and with comes a few new capabilities well worth calling out:
Try out our new Cricket widget to preserve songs of your preferred groups inside the Cricket World Cup! (to be had in GB, PK, AU, and IN) Improvements to the Status bar and System Navigation to suit the subject matter
Android Work Profile clients can view Personal and Work apps one at a time inside the App Drawer.
Bug fixes and overall performance upgrades
Besides the above, Gorden Lin, who works on the Microsoft Launcher Team, notes, “we are also experimenting with a few new UI adjustments throughout unique parts of Launcher, so that you may see some of recent UI to your very own version of five. Four while upgraded”.
Overall, that is more of a smaller, tidying-up replace, but Android Work Profile improvements and a Cricket widget are welcomed additions, even supposing a greater niche. If you are not part of the Microsoft Launcher for Android beta software, it’s clear to get started.
